1. Introduction
------------
*NOTE* There are no German docs available, guess this readme should be enough...
(If you need them though, try sending me an email!)
As a student I am living in a flat-sharing community AND the telephone is mine,
so I better had to think of an (quite) easy way to handle those monthly upcomming
phone bills ;-) Well, I decided to use TurboCalc, included features like
"Kabelanschluß", "Zählimpulse" etc... Finally I made tables for 2 to 5 flat
members... So, after a while, and hours complaining about the German T*kom...
guess I finally did it!
2. Disclaimer
----------
This software is provided AS IS. Neither do I claim it bugfree (or complete) nor
do I give any warranty at all. Any damage that might happen to your system by
using this package is not my fault. Use this software at your own risk!
3. Requirements
------------
I made these tables using TurboCalc 4.x, so they should work from V4 upwards.
Probably they will work with older versions, too (not tested!). If you have any
information on this topic _please_ let me know!
4. Usage & Notes
-------------
Usage should be very easy, just load the desired table into TurboCalc, change
all the data you need (like names, "Telefonanschluss"...), save the new template.
Then if you need it again, just fill in the units (or fee for the other providers
than the T*Kom) of each person...
Notes:
- "Einheiten (*0.1034 / * 0.0930 / * 0.0517)" can slightly differ from your phone
bill because the Telekom rounds at every "Tarifzone" (even seperate for normal an
10 plus...) and they split them as often as they like... :(
- The "Differenz" will be spread over the flat members by the percentage each
amount of units is of the total. So if e.g. someone has no units at all, he or
she won't have to pay a part of the "Differenz" (as he/she was probably not there
and could not be guilty of doing anything wrong :-)... If you don't like this
way, just tell me... If you think one could cheat this way, well
1. one could also cheat if it was devided into equal parts
2. you should better look out for a new flat-sharing community ;-)
- The totals of each one are rounded in a way, so that their sum is never
smaller than the grand total of the phone bill itself!
This might differ upto "number-of-flat-members minus 1 PF" from the actual phone
bill...
5. FEEDBACK
--------
This software is CONTACTWARE!
If you like it you should drop me a mail or even better send me a postcard of your
hometown! Creating these tables was quite some work and they really should (and
probably will) make your life (at least concerning the phone bill 8) a lot easier.
So, feedback would not be too much to be expected, or are you just too lazy?! :(
You might also have a look at other products of mine, which can be found on my
homepage (http://www.cattaneo.de/projekte.e.html) or aminet®.
